Pillar Design Group, Inc. performed a structural conditions survey and evaluation of the deteriorated existing concrete pan-joist parking garage, including the pavement, and pool and patio areas above the garage. The parking garage is a two-level underground structure.
Scope of services included:
Condition survey and assessment report
Design of repair procedures and specification of materials for repair of cracks and spalling and replacement of severely deteriorated components
Review of waterproof membrane materials above garage structure below asphalt paving made in conjunction with contractor and asphalt paving designer
Development of construction documents for repair procedures
Construction site visits as required to observe repair extents and verify required procedures
Development of site reports outlining observations and progress
